In its essence, spirituality is that which goes beyond the confines of materialism. It crosses all boundaries and perceived differences and limitations, and unites everyone and everything under one umbrella of universal cosmology. It is vast.
This seminar delves into expansive spiritual principles through the medium of the Bhagavad Gita, one of the ancient texts of the Indian subcontinent. Nestled within the great epic, The Mahabharata, perhaps the most told story of all-time, the Bhagavad Gita raises those be-all, end-all questions regarding the meaning of human life. Yet, it is all done within the setting of an epic tale.

The famed archer Arjuna is about to partake in the greatest battle of his life – yet suddenly his knees go soft and he loses his nerve. At that fateful moment, he turns to his charioteer, Krishna, for hope and strength. The dialog and spiritual transformation that ensues is the Bhagavad Gita, or song of the Divine.

Rather than go through a line-by-line narrative, we will engage in key aspects of the Gita that highlight the essence of spiritual thought, all the while never losing sight of the great story at hand. So dry philosophy this will not be, rather a grand human tale of trial and ultimately triumph – with which we can all relate. We will consider and apply these teachings within the context of our own day-to-day lives.

Note: If you wish to read a pocket or paperback version of the Bhagavad Gita prior that might be helpful; however, it is by no means required. The presentation style will easily accommodate everyone.
