What is the Living Yoga seminar series?
The Living Yoga seminar series takes a dynamic and innovative
look at the heart and soul of yoga as well as how the practice of yoga can
enrich our lives. This is a unique opportunity to go beyond the mat and delve
deep into the essence of yoga.
Note 1: Handouts given. Bring a mat & a pen.
Note 2: Yoga attire recommended (just in case).
Note 3: These seminars are NOT traditional hatha yoga classes; rather they are seminars
where information is presented, discussed, and reviewed.

initial inquiry into yoga as well as the experienced practitioner.

When: Saturday, June 21, 2008 from 2pm - 4pm
Where: Northeast Community Center (Ches Bch)
Take a dynamic look at human health and the effects of our food choices-- the yogic way. Discover new pathways for enhancing your state of health as we investigate a wide array of topics such as: Acid-alkaline foods, sentient (sattvik) nutrition, water consumption, fasting, food labeling, and more. Gain the skills and knowledge to transform yourself through daily life practices.
The seminar is geared to be an overview of some of the key facets of yogic health and hygiene centering around human nutrition and disease prevention, and will provide you with a base for further study and exploration.
Included will be a review of key asanas (yoga postures), as well as meditative techniques.
